There are two main styles that appeal to me, a mixture of which are in here. One option would be for parquet flooring, combined with a concrete, wrap around island and/or worktops ( I couldn't find many images of this exact style, so we'd maybe need to get some renders of how this'd look). And if we don't go for a concrete worktop, another option would be having a polished concrete floor instead. Preferences ranked from 1 upwards.
