I don't want this lack of depth behind the sink. I want to be able to clean behind it easily.

drip point doesn't use much interior space.

If the stove goes on the south wall, this shows windows on both sides and solid wall behind the stove. it can be done and looks fine.

shows the fridge and surrounding cabinetry which would hide the door to the root cellar

I like the step up behind the sink as a place for herb growing. this is that special old sink she built the kitchen for.

Paint or paper the pantry. Almost looks good enough to do away with the doors.

good inside corner storage for small appliances. easy to access them.

Simple medium wood cabinets with black pulls, black counters, wonderful colorful stone back splash, with darker wood floors. uppers have full overlay, lowers have large reveal and don't look bad.

rustic surround of the entire kitchen entry area. Would look good from the great room. also ties in the wood island counter top.

2 casement windows over the sink, with glass front cabinets to the left. Good representation of what left side cabinets would look like if left it with an unbalanced look. Not too bad.

This has simple ceiling beaming. Might be better to hide range hood tube and any vent stack. may not have the ceiling height we want.
Q

another way to provide inside corner cabinet storage. I don't know if this provides the best amount of storage.
Q

wood island counter top with under counter stools. stools look comfortable w/o backs. perimeter counter tops are not wood.

spatulas and other tools stored in stainless cups in the drawers next to the stove. they stand up rather than lay flat.
wood floors, linen walls, maybe ORB bedframe
