This room has green cabinets similar to our ideas. Also we sort of like the tan/brown shelves. Could match the trout table. Maybe extend that to the bar counter tops. But more "green" above the fireplace too.

The material behind the shelves is the same as the fireplace. Is that something we could look at? We'll have mostly books. . .but maybe the next person won't

This is a similar fireplace arrangement that we are talking about. Painted cabinets and stone around the fireplace. It looks nice and probably not far from furniture that we would buy. Its nice.

Can we just have a mantel with the same wall above the fireplace? We can change out the fireplace surround.

Maybe a gas firepit? Maybe keep the whole patio and use this as a feature for half of the space.
