I like the simplicity and the one and a half story height of the vaulted great room because I feel like it would fit our scale better—also like the deck overhang w wood underneath,the black window framing, lots of glass/stone/wood/metal—obviously we would have a full walk out basement underneath tho

It absolutely would need a peaked roof but the elements of tons of glass, dark window frames, large deck with deep overhang and walkout basement feel right
