ooooo...i really like the accents in the backsplash along with this granite. Nice combo. And I like this wood, actually. Maybe something a little more almond, like the color of the NC kitchen remake. But I really think there's something here in the color scheme that could work nicely with our current set up. Just very different style.
im not sure what I like about this. There's a warmth to the color scheme. It emphasizes the gold, but the blue and gold with a dark wood and a blue granite are nice...and not out of line with what we're starting with. Too ornate though. We'd want something more craftsman or mission style, I think...
this granite I think looks neater in the stores than in application, from what I've seen so far. This is a good example - it looks so pretty, but in context somehow loses it's luster, and just looks busy, not beautiful
is that the alaskan blue granite again? I really like this, even with the dark wood and the blue walls. This is a color scheme we could make work well... Really like it
Alaskan blue granite is cool
wow! Now that's a slab of granite! Very cool - looks like angry ocean or a dragon flying at the foot of a mountain. Amazing!!! And look how the glass looks like reeds/wood - very, very neat.
such a pretty window with the arch
really like the windows of the cabinet doors here
maybe
the color of the backsplash are nice and warm i we went more with wood cabinets then maybe think this color family
it's just cool
tile accents
interesting pantry solution
another hiding solution for our horizontal filing
i want this again
the clear doors are nice-interesting woodwork on it
practical
ok...now I'm just dreaming
the artwork over the stovetop would go great over our window above the sink
ok, thats just awesome. feels so organic and warm
this countertop is actually a nice potential neutral if we went with something spectacular on the island and/or with a really strong/interesting backsplash
awesome backsplash
ok, thats just sharp. really cool look
there they are again i like the cut outs in the doors
cabinet facing is great, especially the cut outs. Craftsman?
pretty wood
Different cabinets of the island looks cool... I like the reversal of the contrast. Also love the ceilings, but totally not practical for our space, I think...
green does work in the family room, too. Looks good with the white. Interesting idea to use chopping block for countertop...hadn't considered really. doesn't it wear easily though, and show everything? (two young boys are bound to leave a mark, not me of course...ha...)
good vertical organization
I still like green with the white...maybe we could think of going back to this? Kinda messes with the whole color scheme though...just a thought. Like the window work on the doors
great way to hide stuff on the counter. Also like the hidden outlets under the upper cabinets
is this the microwave in a drawer? Because that's a cool idea...
LOVE the window over the sink...I really like the idea of doing something like this...and echoing it with a replacement door, one way or another...(sliding vs. french doors...)
love the spice racks. Also really cool backsplash
The glass in the windows - makes me wonder if we could somehow incorporate the stained glass windows we have (or another one...)
I really like the glass, criss-cross panes. Need look! I also like the "wash" on the wood, that emphasizes the molding/detail work. But I'd want more color everywhere else - backsplash, walls, countertops...
Cool backsplash. Don't like the granite on the island though.
I like the end of the island. The decorative shelves. The brick one the stovetop is pretty neat, too, but I don't see how that's going to go with out style. Just like it.
that's a cool use of space...gets it off the countertop
Similar size and arrangement to the room, a little different layout for the main essentials - I think I like our fridge and stovetop positions better, but worth looking at this and thinking about it...Also like the fridge, and like the drawers under the stovetop.
I LOVE this!!
great pocket door...can that even be put in after the fact? I wonder if that would be a good solution for our little pantry
what if we put in a french door like this, with the arch, and also put in an arched window over the sink? Do they do a sliding door with an arched transom? Is that even a possibility? Or would that just look weird...
cool storage ideas
window again = love the shape as a focal interest point
the arched window mimicking the other arches (like our doorways...)
stone tiles really look great with the wood. Cool idea over the window - shows it would look nice above ours with something with a natural flow, maybe something 3D - metal branches, very flowy...
