BRILLIANCE! FINALLY! With this photo I realize my "side board" in the entry (which we never use as such) could BE the mudroom storage! Completely clear up the floor of additional 'storage' furniture! Why didnt I see this before...?

mudroom / laundry room! A "slop sink" is a very useful feature. If you've invested in a beautiful kitchen sink, you certainly don't want to be cleaning out paintbrushes or muddy clothes in it !!!!
