Cute little she-shed. I also like the A-frame shelter. I could see something like this on the deck for stashing brooms, BBQ gear, sunscreen, bird food, etc. Open, but sheltered.
Nifty lighting to make use of the back yard at night more fun. I could see hiding these among the IVY! or twining into the trees & azaleas.

Simple. Not a fan of the shiny balls, but I like the pebbles, pavers & some sort of seating near a cozy fire.

I like the way the plants, pebbles, and stepping stones integrate into a cohesive whole. The lantern speaks the Japanese into here, but a gazing ball, iron bench, or gargoyle (!) would work too and make it feel less thematically Asian.
rocks, minimal plants, pebbles. Rocks. Doesn't work at all with the polished tile, though. Pebbles need to be a darker tone. too high-contrast to be easy on the eye.
I like the ironwork shade-caster & that it's positioned not to send rust stains down the wall.
it's not grass. It's moss. Must provide a footpath of stones, gravel, etc. as it will not survive much foot traffic.

simple, simple. Not a huge mix of plants. Not a lot of color. Shape and texture rule.
I like the way the apron mixes materials - stone to brick to asphalt. Nice transition.
Like the simplicity of wooden slats for a pervious shade
adore the sculptural quality of the massed shrubs, hard wall, and trailing Bougainvillea. Will it grow here?

Too hard-edged, angular & severe looking. It wants more cozy.
Really, really like the mix of hardscape elements. The geometry is appealing. Simple mix of plants. Not crazy about the spiky poofy things in the stone. A huge round turquoise planter, or a water feature would suit me better.
beautiful, manageable little back garden. Maybe even more patio, less lawn? Love the curves.
