- Plenty of counter space for appliances, cooling down cakes, setting-up wine and cheese, etc.
- Practical appliances, a wine fridge, a super-duper hood-fan.
- Great lighting to work or create all sorts of moods: dramatic pendants, tasks lights, halogen, under-cabinet lighting, lights in the glass cabinets.
- A big island with plenty of space to walk around.
- Heated floors but also air-conditioning.
- Cabinets made of beautiful wood finish or all white, without too many distracting details. China cabinets and curio cabinets are a must.
