Slide in cooktop oven with seating on other side. Since we were undecided as to where the cooktop/stove would go... In this pic a slide-in cooktop/stove has seating on opposite side. We were questioning cooktop too close to people seated. I know this is too long for my kitchen but if shortened to end at the stove this may be the correct length? (I also question how the cooktop is vented. ) Another thought .. Since the seating needs some space from the cooktop we are not bound to making a deeper seating top since there isn't anything along that wall in the family room.
