Look at the gray-blue built-in desk. Lots of room to work plus upper cabets & shelving for storage and to display personal items. Yes, it's large, but so is the room it's featured in. NOTE TO SELF: use it as an example & list what you specifically like about it & why. Take into consideration the color too. It is possible to do a low-end version using cabinets from IKEA, Home Depot, Lowe's or even previously owned. Lots of options. Just need to decide on a style & must haves for my office/hobby room space.

Great use of wall space. I've seen similar racks in Ballard design catalog , but racks promoted for laundry. I think they could easily be used for holding gift wrap, etc.

Take advantage of corner space. Working in the corner of a desk isn't manageable unless the desk top is angled. It's easy to find yourself with either wasted space or a graveyard for unfinished projects. --> Use this area by setting a shelf at an angle or for storing large items. I love ALL the Inspiration on the walls. Plus a place & space in every nook, cranny & corner for everything. FUN!

Make the most of built-ins. A wall of simple built-ins, along with IKEA storage boxes, transparent drawers and a countertop make the most of one small area of the room. Note the bottom left corner - wrapping paper storage. Brillant!
