Parlour & Palm
Our clients are married professionals who felt like they were previously living in a dorm room that lacked style and sophistication. In the beginning of the process, helping them find their style was a challenge (but a super fun one!). We love how this evolved into a cool, cozy, bold, and eclectic space with just the right amount of quirk and edge. ?? (Plus, that emerald green velvet sofa by Roger & Chris is just so ?)

This small space packs a punch. With the dark wood floors and the bright white walls the bright colors have a great foundation to pop off of. Outside of the box thinking with two drapery colors and a crystal chandelier. The Green West Elm sofa sits in front of open bookshelves. The wall book shelf is attached and great for small space storage. Using the vertical space and saving valuable floor space. incorporating vintage tables and a bright colorful chair adds a ton of character to this small condo. Ember Fireplaces
A dramatic transformation in an early 20th century home brought into the new millennium by a young and eclectic owner. A new fireplace adds to the warmth and ambiance to a space filled with warm spice colors and African pieces collected through many travels. The clean face gas burning unit is the Bayport model from Kozy Heat finished with a Beveled front in Rust. The brick is new to the home and is painted white to limit the rustic feel but still maintain it's classic look. A slate hearth and a reclaimed wood mantel from a 100 year old barn compliment the design and anchor the design in tradition.

Hacienda del Sueño - Gallery to Guest Wing
Drewett Works
Positioned at the base of Camelback Mountain this hacienda is muy caliente! Designed for dear friends from New York, this home was carefully extracted from the Mrs’ mind. She had a clear vision for a modern hacienda. Mirroring the clients, this house is both bold and colorful. The central focus was hospitality, outdoor living, and soaking up the amazing views. Full of amazing destinations connected with a curving circulation gallery, this hacienda includes water features, game rooms, nooks, and crannies all adorned with texture and color. This house has a bold identity and a warm embrace. It was a joy to design for these long-time friends, and we wish them many happy years at Hacienda Del Sueño. This amazing, U-shaped Memorial (Houston, TX 77024) custom kitchen design was influenced by the "The Great Gatsby" era with its custom zinc flared vent hood with nickel plated laminate straps. This terrific hood flares in on the front and the sides. The contrasting finishes help to add texture and character to this fully remodeled kitchen. This hood is considerably wider than the cooktop below. It's actually 60" wide with an open back splash and no cabinets on either side. We love to showcase vent hoods in most of our designs because it serves as a great conversation piece when entertaining family and friends. A good design tip is to always make the vent hood larger than the stove. It makes an incredible statement! The antiqued, mirror glass cabinets feature a faux finish with a furniture like feel. The large back splash features a zig zag design, often called "chevron pattern." The french sconces with nickel plated shades are beautifully displayed on each side of the gorgeous "La Cornue" stove adding bling to the kitchen's magnificence and giving an overall elegant look with easy clean up. Additionally, there are two (2) highbrow chandeliers by Curry & Company, gives the kitchen the love needed to be a step above the norm. The island bar has a farmhouse sink and a full slab of "Fantasy Brown" marble with seating for five. There is tons of storage throughout the kitchen with plenty of drawer and cabinet space on both sides of the island. The sub-zero refrigerator is totally integrated with cupboards and drawers to match. Another advantage of this variety of refrigeration is that you create furniture-style cabinetry. This is a truly great idea for a dateless design transformation in Houston with raised-panel cupboards and paneled appliances. Polished nickel handles, drawer pulls and faucet hardware complete the design.

Eclectic design has an intentionally collected, curated feel. An eclectic home mixes family treasures, found items and big-box-store purchases to create a one-of-a-kind, personalized space. This category pulls from multiple styles, eras and color palettes; for example, eclectic decor can effortlessly combine vintage wallpaper, modern art and a traditional chesterfield sofa all in the same space. Eclectic style doesn’t play by the rules, which makes it difficult to replicate but fairly easy to identify.
