Another Smart Glass company....Another smart-glass company to watch is View, which is a startup backed by glass giant Corning. In addition to being able to change automatically based on the light coming through the window, View’s Dynamic Glass product is also controllable from either a wall switch or a smart-phone app. There’s no question that smart-glass technology can bring down the costs of heating and cooling, and is improving the options for controlling light and heat not with shades, blinds and curtains but with changes in the glass itself.
Glass that turns to a shade itself....it is expensive, but efficient to save energy. One of the largest makers of smart glass is a company called SageGlass, which makes electronically tintable glass, used mostly in commercial buildings so far. The company claims its smart glass enables architects to use fewer sun-control devices, which ultimately increases the amount of glass a building can have. SageGlass' product works via a ceramic coating that darkens when very low-voltage electricity is applied. When the coating darkens, both light and heat are greatly reduced. The glass is typically used for windows, skylights and curtain walls.

Outdoors: •Before storing your patio furniture for the winter, clean it with baking soda and a wet sponge. •Clean grime and mildew off pool toys with the basic mixture. •Blast oil and grease stains in the garage or driveway by pouring baking soda directly on them. Scrub with a wet brush and rinse. •Battle icy walkways with a sprinkling of baking soda.
Bathroom: • Clean floors with a bucket of warm water and ½ cup of baking soda. • Use the basic mixture to clean your bathroom surfaces or sprinkle dry baking soda on tough-to-clean stains. • Clean hairbrushes and combs once per month by soaking them in warm water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. • Deodorize and clean the toilet with a sprinkling of baking soda on the inside of the bowl; scrub and flush. • For rust stains in the shower, sink or toilet bowl, pour in 1 cup of vinegar and ½ cup of baking soda.
