I like the slate/stone floors against the wood, like the dark wood door, lights above the island and lots of kitchen windows, great!

I like the idea of an "entry hall" that has closet space adjoining, if the "closet" can be used as "mud room" space to hold shoes and coats, with seating to use to change shoes!
