This is for the compost -- do we have space for this? Seems practical (sweep it off into the compost drawer) and off the counter... Erik: In theory, I like the idea. The only thing that concerns me is whether the drawer itself will start to reek or be hard to clean. Maybe a pullout drawer with a bin that's easy to remove and clean (and has a lid so it doesn't stink).
