Infinity House:
A simple, clean structure acting as a blank slate for children to take over and make their own. The inside of the playhouse utilizes tempered pegboard, a cost effective strategy to create a unique interior setting where children can support, clip, hang, or pin trinkets and discoveries collected on their daily adventures. The incorporation of the pegboard becomes visible through a continuous ribbon 'windows" wrapping the exterior, creating a pin-light effect when lit from inside at night. The transparency of the board creates privacy for anyone inside, while allowing children to be visible to parents outside for safety. The simple geometry is wrapped in wood siding with an insect mesh protecting all openings capped in a standing seam metal roof. A place where the imagination has infinite room to explore inside.
