We love the facing on this fireplace, but we are afraid it would be wildly expensive. The look and feel is very nice.

Wooden shelves with a stone shelf on the bottom is a cool idea. Not sure if there’s going to be an area in the house with this type of thing.

We love the idea of stacking the washer and dryer to create more space for shelving or even a space to store household cleaning items. I like the wallpaper and cool colours, not sure I could sell Ron on the colours LOL!

This is our favourite exterior. We like the varied roof angles. The variety of materials that are used on the exterior (wood, rock and whatever the synthetic material is in the middle). The synthetic Siding in the middle the house looks like cement and we like that very much. This house is located in Victoria on Pilot Street.

Another example of fireplace/television combination. The interesting elements in this case are the two large shapes; bottom rectangle for hearth and top square section.

Straight lines of house are broken up nicely by the curved gate and garage roof line. (I.e., does not look like a box on a box) The three elements, wood, stucco, stone are good together.

Another example of ergonomic placement of television over low horizontal hearth. Stones in the hearth would be nice.

Given the configuration of the room, it may make sense to incorporate the tv with fireplace. In this example the tv is low enough to be ergonomic. We plan to get a picture frame TV. The facing material of the fireplace is low contrast to the tv. This means we would not require that it be recessed, but still need to ensure that we have electric and other outlets necessary to ensure the TV is fully functional.

We like the use of materials on this exterior. The wood accent provides a nice transition between the lighter colour stucco and the Blackstone. We also like the black window frames.
