I very much prefer how these windows align with the front of the cabinets, so there's not a "shelf" on the top of the cabinet

what about this type of layout for our kitchen? With a wetbar behind the fireplace, and the table to the right of the sink?
I like the lower level bar -- chairs and be lower and more comfortable (and safer for kiddos)
love practically everything about this! the B&W cabinets, the black light fixtures, all the tile, the built-ins, the farm sink, etc -- the dark brown trim around the window, the glass cabinets, the hardware, the marble countertop. perhaps would like a bright color for the island, rather than black

Love the layout, the light fixture, and the rolling ladder -- but it's got too much stainless. needs some color and warmth!
AWESOME brick surround around the stove -- would want it to be wider, so we can hang pots and pans within it -- see next picture. or it could be more of a surround -- like the stone in the picture after the next picture

LOVE the countertop and the built-in cabinets that come all the way down to the countertop on either side of the stove -- the accent tile is also BEAUTIFUL paired against the rough wood above! I like that it's bright, but only in a small area

simple white cabinets & white backsplash = fabulous! LOVE the ceiling beams and finish on the wood floors. I like the contrasting wood of the island, but would want a more glamorous marble countertop that wraps to the floor.
could the sink look out over the backyard (with french doors to the right), and the stove be against our outer left wall? island can but up (long-ways) against the brick back of the fireplace

LOVE the overhanging counter top and how it creates a natural, seamless bar space. could be a different color or finish than the rest of the kitchen -- as an accent.
