Okay, just listen. we take out the current shelves/cupboards in the Master. We put in a vanity (not a double) and a floor-to-ceiling cabinet to augment the storage situation. Here comes the crazy though: The shape in our Master would be a "reverse-L" and the cabinet portion (on the right / north side) would become the de facto privacy wall for the shower! Okay, maybe that's just crazy.

This is another option of storage above the toilet that we both like. However for the master I am not sure I would sacrifice the mirror space.
The back shelving along the low profile toilet is brilliant - and we both think so...
The non-pull drawers
Conrad likes the no pulls on these drawers. I like them too but not as passionate about it. However I know these are Huntwood cabinets and like that brand.
Conrad likes the "flat screen" tv look for the mirror - I do too. Also love how the tile goes up the wall.

Conrad liked this - but he didn't say why exactly. I am pretty drawn again to the walnut cabinets. Also the tile work in the shower in this bath is really interesting. All in all this is a really thought provoking remodel - and I am not surprised it was in the 1M to 1.5M range :)
Conrad and I agree that the wood work is beautiful. However I noticed in the notes that this was a two step process - first bleach then stain. That could be costly.
Conrad likes the floating vanity and the low profile toilet. I agree that we may need to go with a lower profile toilet. Again I would not recommend a floating vanity due to storage issue but would put in a deeper toe kick.
Conrad believes a taller vanity would give us more storage space. I completely agree. Also I wonder if we can rob some of the mast bath to get the bath surround I am thinking of in the previous picture.
This is a "shower screen" that is in the same bathroom as the next save. I think this is brilliant to block water but also open up to utilize the ENTIRE bath. In and out etc. Also the bath surround is really cool with that ledging I wonder if we can get this space in our main bath?
Conrad likes this look as it translates well if used in kitchen and both baths. I completely agree. It is a beautiful bathroom and can see this trend in kitchen too.
Conrad likes bath and vanity. I like as well but really because it has space around the sink to put soap etc. The floating vanity seems nice as something that feel light and not crowded but I would accomplish this with a 5 inch toe kick so I can maximize storage.
Conrad likes the sink - I do too but I think he likes the fixtures that come out from the wall. I like either way but the undermount sink is a must for Carol for cleaning purposes.
I agree with Conrad on the Wall glass only.
