Staircases
Straight, closed, risers from a natural slate that fits the palette and concrete threads. Very safe, not too high or steep with excellent and strong railings on both sides. For inside storage such as a lovely bookcase and for outside potted plants on every step. If glass forms part of the railing inside I could incorporate a stained glass design and will then use a plain step. If bookcase, nothing else, if closed storage cupboards then I could display a nice collection of art on the walls to create interest. If there is a landing, it would be nice to incorporate a bay window. Lighting is also something to think of.
