I just have a feeling that something like this would be waaaayyyy tooooo much. We don’t need to live a lifetime to try and accumulate enough shit to go on those walls.

Some kind of fun like this in what used to be the wet bar.

This rail along the top of some kind of paneling would also help draw the eye down.

I think this on the ceiling might help bring the ceiling in the living/dining room down a bit more.
