Aedan Workshop

This rating represents an average of two dimensions: I would give their talent and knowledge a 5 and their business skills a lower rating. The pluses: deep and broad knowledge of plants and sustainable landscape design, beautiful artistic sense reflected in design deliverables and their portfolio of work. Areas for improvement: clearer communication and expectation setting / project management. We only worked together on design due to some communication misfires, but their design was a beautiful one - and one I will leverage going forward, adapted for my budget and schedule parameters.

Wes and James completed a major project in our back yard this fall and totally transformed it. We loved working with them! They're both incredibly personable, knowledgeable, reliable and very skilled at what they do. They were able to work with our budget for the project and their landscaping crew was approachable and easy to work with. Highly, highly recommend them!

We contacted Aedan Workshop because we wanted a landscape design that was artistic. We had the interior of our home finished to look and feel like an art museum. Now, we wanted the exterior to compliment the interior. When Wes and James, owners of Aedan Workshop arrived, they listened. Our only request was “Simplicity” and “Little or no maintenance”. Also, if it came down to a tree or a rock, rocks would win. Off they went and a short time later they came back with their ideas. They had listened and the design was very artistic and exactly what we had envisioned. We could not have happier with the process and the end product which was perfect from conception to completion. On a last note, we have been on a monthlong trip and when we arrived home, it took us an hour to blow off the leaves…” Little or no maintenance”. They had listened.

Wes, James and their entire team were absolutely phenomenal to work with. We had a small space and a long "wish list", and they pulled it all together better than we could have imagined. Their design was creative, true to our style, and reflected our desire for the space to grow with our young family. The only thing better than the design was the craftsmanship.

This was a transformational experience. They are absolutely the best to work with. I loved their vision and commitment. What a great group of people to work with. There are not enough superlatives I can use about the overall experience and the outcome.
