“We decided to hire Garden Environments after watching the mulch and soil on the side of our house swept away again and again after a rain fall. Our neighbours hired them and were very satisfied with their work, so we set up an appointment to see what could be done for our property . From beginning to end, this project could not have gone better. The detailed plans, the excellent work done in a timely manner, the plantings, and follow up were all done with care and professionalism. Shortly after the swale was completed, a severe thunderstorm came through and dislodged some of the plantings. A call was made and they were out to our house to fix the damage and prevent it from happening again. This is a company that takes pride in their work and stands by their work. “We have been so pleased with our new landscape design by Cat Valand Landscape Design. Our shrubs had been planted over 30 years ago (when our house was originally built), and they were either too large for the area, or too scraggly because of age. Cat Valand gave our home a new "facelift" and was so easy to work with. One side of our yard slopes down and we have struggled with keeping dirt in place; Cat immediately realized we needed a small retaining wall; she helped us pick out the stone for the wall and had it installed. She made arrangements for our old plants to be removed, selected new ones, and had them installed. Cat was at our home when she said she would be....each day the workers were here, they were on time and cleaned up their work area. We have a lot of people in and out of our home and have received many complimentary comments on our new landscaping. Our home looks very welcoming! We would highly recommend Cat Valand Landscape Design.”

“My husband and I were in the process of finalizing building plans for our new home which is situated on a gorgeous lake. The topography of the lot was very challenging and because we were building a one story home with a basement we wanted to make sure that the house did not sit in a "gulley". We hired Borum, Wade & Associates to ensure, from an engineering standpoint, that the appropriate amount of fill dirt was brought in to allow us the ability to have 10' ceilings in the lower level as well as main level of the home. At the same time, we had their Landscape Architect draw a rendering of the house on the lot, with decks and patios and an in ground pool. Working with a sloping lot is quite challenging, however once they were finished with our plan and now that the house is complete, we couldn't be more happy. We are so thankful that we found Borum, Wade & Associates to help make our lot and home as spectacular as it has turned out to be. Would highly recommend them for engineering needs and landscape design.”
