My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Located in Chicago, Quality Work Construction (QWC) is a licensed general construction company. Established in 2015 by two brothers Alexis and Lauro Diaz, who understand the clients needs and wants in order to complete the project. Here at Quality Work Construction we specialize in interior remodels, exterior remodels, and custom projects for homes, studies, and condos in the Chicagoland area. Past projects have included kitchen remodel, custom cabinet installation, bathroom tile installation, setting dry wall, and painting.

I recently needed to repair my driveway and get some tuck pointing done to give my home some nice curb appeal. Quality Work Construction stood true to the name of Quality Work. Work crew was prompt , courteous, and beyond respectful. The attention to details was evident and the CEO Alexis Diaz even came by to inspect the work and ensure I was a happy customer ! Looking forward to working on future projects together :)

Alexis and his team did a sloppy and careless job throughout the entirety of our contract. We tried to operate in good faith and paid for the projects upfront. We hoped this would help move things along so we can start living at our condo but that was not the case. Him and his team were often late or wouldn’t even show up, they would damage more things around our condo than they would fix (I assume to try and get more paid work), left a mess each time they departed, and made poor excuses why the end products weren’t what they guaranteed us. We parted ways with Alexis and his team over a year ago and to this day, we’re still trying to reverse and/or repair the poor work they did.

Alexis and his team remodeled our master bathroom. They gave us a fair quote and kept us looped into the process every step of the way. This was the first big project my husband and I have undertaken in a home so there were many things we didn't know about the process, and Alexis and his team answered all of our questions. They did a great job, and we are thrilled with our new bathroom!

Alexis and Lauro did a wonderful job constructing our attic. Our home is a bungalow in the North West Side of Chicago. After working with multiple contractors, their ideas and recommendations really got us exited about completing the project. Turning it into a “family room” with new bedrooms for the kids, master bedroom, hang out area and a complete bathroom with stand up shower. Allowing us to finally move forward with expanding the kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. Work was completed on schedule and budget making it easy to continue using their services.
