Hi! I’m Alyssa. I believe my upbringing shapes my approach to every shot I take. I grew up working for my dad in his cabinetry shop from a very young age, where I developed a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. Those early years immersed in woodwork and design sparked my lifelong passion for the remodeling industry, which I hold near and dear to my heart. If there’s one thing I learned firsthand, it’s that a remodel or build is an incredible amount of work and time. And so the most important thing to me is to show off the space that you’ve worked so hard for. In a world where anyone can grab a camera and snap a picture, it takes more than that to make a shot stand out. What makes a photo truly special? I believe it’s all about understanding lighting. I often think about my garden in the summer—the difference between a cloudy day and one bathed in sunlight. That warm, golden light spilling across the leaves transforms everything. I approach every shoot with the belief that every image should be beautiful and inviting, and no space is ever too challenging. I don’t believe in snapping a bunch of pictures and hoping for one that works. I believe in making the perfect shot happen every time.
