Amarx has a lack of oversight and questionable execution, poor communication, defective plumbing installations, and a rush to finish projects with out the necessary due diligence and oversight for the size of the projects has lead to multiple new construction units flooding within a year of occupancy. Amarx will not accept fault for these plumbing's issues. My home had major flooding over 30k of damage not once but twice within 5 months of occupancy and it is a real nightmare I wouldn’t wish on any one.

From the planning phase to completion, it was a pleasure to work with Kyle and his whole staff. The process was well organized, on time, and thorough. Questions were answered promptly and the few changes that arose were immediately attended to. We could not be more satisfied with the results.

I have designed numerous homes that Amarx has built, including Kyle's own personal home. Amarx builds a very good quality home at very competitive prices. They are very good with communication and creative problem solving, and are always pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Amarx to build your home.

Kyle Gilliland and Amarx Construction recently completed a home for my parents in Fairview, NC. We brought a plan to them that we liked and Kyle made some suggestions which were great and he made it happen. Although getting the septic permitted became somewhat of a long process, it was due to county guidelines and restrictions because of the soil and had nothing to do with anything else. Prices for upgrades and changes along the way were transparent and given in a timely manner. We were able to visit the house at least once a week and see progress and were always happy with communication with Derrick and Cole, the site managers. Kacia, the designer, helped us with making all of the selections in the home and we changed very little along the way. Overall we highly recommend Amarx Construction, LLC and my parents are very happy with their new home.

Amarx has built several homes in our development. Whether spec or custom, each home has been high quality with great curb appeal. Amarx is trustworthy and very knowledgeable. We ask them to meet with prospective homesite purchasers frequently due to their professionalism and reputation. Highly recommend them.

Amarx construction built a great house for us of high quality, good value, and with outstanding customer service that continues through today. When we moved to Asheville in 2013, we were reluctant to consider building a house given experiences of friends and our perfectionism. Kyle made the process very comfortable. He and his workers were incredibly flexible and accomodating. We showed Kyle a basic idea of what we wanted, and he helped us find the land, designed the house with his architect, personally guided us through the choices (lights, granite, landscaping...), and got the job done right on time. When we tell people that they finished right on time, people are amazed as that is not the norm with new construction. Kyle and Cole provided the best customer service imaginable over the following year when the usual new home construction fixes needed to occur. They responded to and resolved all of our concerns within days to weeks. We love our house and location and never plan to build again, but we would certainly use Amarx Construction again.

Amarx built my first home and was patient with me as I learned the ropes with deciding on light fixtures and such. Kyle gently nudged me along if I stalled on making big decisions like the color of the home. Kyle's crew was personable and they stayed exactly on schedule and budget, which is rare in the construction world and huge pluses. He's a great guy, locally based in Asheville. He made my dream come true and I've owned a beautiful home for 3 yrs now. Oh and if any issues came up after we moved in, no questions were asked, he just simply sent someone over to assist.
