Amy helped us with the planning and execution of the interior design for our new house built in 2014. The house is approximately 7,000 square feet and has a modern farm-house style, with a dose of New England flavor. Amy was very responsive, flexible and patient with us, and very hands-on. She took the time to understand what we wanted, and in some cases helped us figure out what it was that we wanted, while steering us away from decisions that might have been mistakes. Amy helped us with many aspects of the finish materials and design: selecting materials for everything from flooring, tile, countertops, lighting, built-in details and finishes, paint colors, carpet, stains, stone, millwork, windows, etc. and designing tile layouts, ceiling designs, wall finishes, stair rails, balcony railings, fireplace mantels, door selections, door hardware...I could go on and on. One thing I really appreciated about working with Amy is aside from her design choices, with which we are completely satisfied, is that Amy had a very clear process--Amy knew what decisions had to be made first and the order of every decision on down the line. She laid out a plan kept us on schedule and because of her organization, it brought order to the chaos of the new construction process. She worked very well with the builder and always communicated clearly. I give Amy the highest praise and my emphatic endorsement.
