I recently had a phone consultation with Andrea of Inner Space Designs. After purchasing a new statement piece for my living room, I wanted an expert opinion on a set of curtains that would complement my space. This was my first experience consulting with an interior designer, and needless to say, the process was efficient and pleasant. I sent Andrea a set of photos of my space and shortly after we met for a phone call. Andrea was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She offered design suggestions that worked within my budget and also more importantly, my aesthetic. Andrea shared insights that would help maximize the appearance of a relatively small space and helped me select a set of curtains that would accentuate my home’s eclectic bohemian vibe. Andrea really honed into what brings me joy and the function of my space. For young professionals or for those who are wanting to cultivate a curated space on a budget, this is a wonderful service. Andrea SAVED our studio. My wife and I put our life savings into the construction of a Yoga and Barre studio, along with a full commercial kitchen and wine bar. Once we had the skeleton built, our anxiety increased over the overall feel and concept for our members. So thanks to a friend's recommendation, we brought Andrea in to help. To say that she helped is an understatement...she absolutely nailed what we wanted but could not articulate. From the paint colors to the lighting (GORGEOUS) to just the overall feel of what we wanted...amazing! On top of it all, she showed up numerous times to walk through the concepts with us and understand our budget since we are a true small business with no loans or "Big Daddy"-type of funds available. And the cherry on top was her commitment to come take a class! LOVE Andrea and highly recommend her!!

Andrea with Inner Space Designs was a great addition to the team that worked on a bathroom remodel in the Mt Baker neighborhood. Together, Inner Space Design and Wulff Contracting LLC were given the challenge of remodeling a bathroom with very limited space and many constraints but with Andrea's creativity and ability to incorporate the clients needs and wants into a beautifully designed space made my job as the contractor easier. Andrea was responsive with any questions we had and worked quickly to problem solve any challenges that presented themselves. I would definitely recommend Andrea to clients in the future, and I'm sure we will be working on more projects in the near future.

Andrea worked with us when we built our house. We had never undertaken a project like this before and she worked with me and helped me with all the interior aspects of the house. Andrea took the time to listen and if I wasn't sure about round one, she happily went back to the drawing board until I was satisfied with the look for each room. She worked tirelessly to secure good products for us and had everything organized to such a degree that even my builder was impressed. When it came time to work on the inside, everything was there and ready to go with exact instructions. He commented that he had never had a designer be so organized before. Our relationship with Andrea has continued to the point that now my daughter wants to use her when she finally gets her own house and is ready to decorate. I highly recommend her services.

Andrea has her finger on the pulse of contemporary design, bringing with it a vast knowledge of design history with a special interest in mid-century modern. Her diverse design experience, construction knowledge, and open perspective give her the proficiency to answer your needs as well as address issues that may not have been considered. Andrea always holds the big picture while paying attention to every detail, including cost. Being resourceful, she can ensure your budget will be met. I held two art show/parties in a 100 year old wooden warehouse and asked Andrea to own its look and feel. She came up with a detailed plan, including layout for the catering, bar, DJ booth, and art gallery, paying attention to the flow of traffic. She directed the lighting, placement of the art, and added extra interest to the space using items found in the warehouse. Working within a tight budget, she created a lively inviting warm space resulting in enthusiastic success. Simply put, Andrea is an interior designer.

Andrea was great to work with. My favorite thing was that we began the project with very different ideas; instead of pushing her goals on me, she really listened to my ideas and came up with brilliant ways of incorporating them into a beautiful, and very functional, bathroom!
