I had a highly disappointing experience working with Angie. She initially charged me for her services, but then abruptly quit before completing the project. This not only left me in a difficult situation but also wasted my time and money. I expected a professional commitment to finish the job as agreed upon, but unfortunately, I was left without the results I paid for. I would strongly advise against working with this designer due to their lack of reliability and professionalism.

Inviting someone into your home to review it with a constructively critical eye and give it new life is a personal and intimate experience. It takes a professional with equal parts vision, honesty, expertise and commitment. Angie is the embodiment of all these attributes. On her first visit she listened intently to our thoughts and wonderings while truly absorbing the feel and character of our space. In subsequent visits she poured over paint options with us, explored different styles of furniture, mapped out our floor space and created visuals to help navigate the transition. We visited furniture stores together when I needed to "see and feel" some of the options and we exchanged emails and links as we traded ideas and visions. Angie is also focused, responsive, well resourced, reliable and fun. She is passionate about her work and it shows. I would highly recommend Angie for anyone needing someone to guide them through letting go of the old and discovering the new while still feeling like you never left home.

Angie Bender Design has been designing my kitchen remodel. It is not yet completed but what has been done to remodel my kitchen into mid-century modern is amazing. Angie also worked with me to savemost of my furniture and art. It fits in perfectly. Can't wait for her to post ir when it is completed.

We worked with Angie on our home remodel, including painting all walls, trim and doors, re-staining & refinishing hardwood floors, new light fixtures for the whole house, new door hardware, the selection & purchase of a breakfast area dining set, new blackout shades for bedrooms, a new marble fireplace surround and enlarging two windows in our family room. We knew Angie from a prior role she had at an interior furnishings store but we sought her out when it was time to do work on our new home. Based on our previous interactions with Angie, we felt like she understood our style but also encouraged us to look at things with a more creative mind. The result has been a house that feels very comfortable and homey but also has a lovely design and flow. We did most of this work on our new home from abroad and relied heavily on Angie to pick the right colors and finishes for everything, although we made the final decision on everything. Saying that we were incredibly happy with our choice of Angie (and her choices in everything else) is a massive understatement. Our home wouldn’t be nearly so cohesive if we had done this ourselves. Above all, Angie is responsive, organized and friendly. We actually enjoy our time with her and taking on home renovation/design projects. It makes what could be a difficult, frustrating process very easy.

It is such a pleasure to work with Angie! She made the process of designing our new house so easy and so convenient, I did not have to worry about a thing!

Angie’s design services have been so incredibly helpful and empowering. She gave us lots of great suggestions and the confidence to start making some design choices. She’s also a really cool person.

My mom and I worked with Angie to bring our living room to life. Angie was able to help us navigate our design differences, so we ended up with a living space that we both loved. She really listened to what we were trying to do and made putting it all together fun. She's funny, smart and has a great eye, working with her was a blast!

I bought a lot of furniture from Room & Board because Angie was able to bring so much to the table compared to other furniture stores. Due to her background in interior design, she was able to go above and beyond the competition by providing design advice and space planning. I am happy Angie started her own interior design firm where she'll have the ability to fully capitalize on her design talent. I've used Angie to design my entire house - from living room spaces, to all the bedrooms, home office, and roof deck. She's picked everything from furniture to bedding to paint colors and recommending home accents. She is the best! I get so many compliments on her work from guests in my home. She's a pleasure to work with, does a great job of getting to know you, your style, and incorporating things that are meaningful for you. She pushes you out of your comfort zone but in such a great way and is never pushy - she has great opinions and recommendations, but honors yours too. I would HIGHLY recommend Angie to anyone looking for anything from improving an existing room to a whole house design to an outdoor space design.
