As an Architect, I have had experiences with numerous designers over the years and chose Martha for my own home. She is not only extremely talented but has the education and experience to really understand what it takes to create beautiful spaces on time and on budget. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to work with Martha and her team when we furnished our home from scratch in 2011. I love the end result and the whole process of working with them was a pleasure. They are so creative and so good with color and texture and materials and how to pull it all together. The rooms they designed for me are beautiful and fun and cozy and livable. And it’s not just the furnishings/rugs/windows that they do so well – they are able to bring it all together with accessories and art. I also appreciated that she and her team know how to source high/low and give great advice on where to spend money and where to save. Finally, I also just really like everyone there – Martha is a delight and she’s hired a fabulous fabulous team around her. I will also say that I love design and had a lot of my own ideas (I can lose days surfing through Houzz and Pinterest). Martha and team were great about understanding my tastes and transforming them into a beautiful, creative product that still feels like me/my family -- but that I could have never come close to doing on my own.
