Anne Walker Design LLC

Anne has been a go-to person for my interior design/decor work. She has a great sense of style and is very good at working within a budget. Her attentiveness and organization for those of us that are not as organized in that aspect of our lives is very welcome. I would highly recommend her to any one of my friends.

Anne was wonderful to work with on many levels. We asked her to help us design our empty dining room and awkward living room into an elegant but comfortable dining room that could seat at least 20 people for large family gatherings, and make the adjoining living room usable by turning it into a sitting room/game room. Anne was respectful of our budget, which we appreciated. She helped us tremendously with every step of the process. Anne was good at listening to what we needed, and was very practical in her suggestions. She was great about providing us with a range of choices for everything (whether furniture, paint, light fixtures, window treatments) without overwhelming us. She was very natural at helping us eliminate what we didn't want, and guiding us in making choices - from finding the right size furniture, and the right furniture, picking fabrics, finding upholsterer, picking window treatments, finding a person to put the window treatments up, finding the right light fixtures, helping us understand the importance of different types of lights and how to space them, carpet for the game room, and numerous other details. Anne took the time to take us to different places to select things (a lighting shop, a designer showroom, etc.) She provided detailed instructions to our contractors, and worked with them to make sure execution was proper. She was good at explaining her rationale behind recommendations, told us when she disagreed with our choices, and always figured out how to make our choices work. Anne went above and beyond in so many ways. After we had finished the dining room (and already paid her in full), we finally decided on artwork. When I mentioned this to her she stopped by our house and put up the artwork herself - something she really did not have to do. People tell us ALL the time how much they love our dining room. We fully utilize our dining room and adjoining sitting/game room - thanks to the fact that Anne has made both so enjoyable to be in. We loved working with Anne, and we look forward to having us help us when we renovate our kitchen.

Anne is very helpful, attentive, timely and has accurate ideas of just what is needed to make each room/item perfect. I have used her on several occasions and will certainly use her again in the future.

Anne Walker did a fantastic job helping us with various projects around our house. In particular, she helped us select furniture for our patio. She was very efficient in making decisions and implementing our choices. We really appreciated her attention to the size of the furniture that would go in the space. In particular, her selections ended up being a perfect compliment to existing design choices and maximized movement in the space to allow for easy entertaining. Anne is very good about listening to her client's desires including budget. We have been very happy with her services and look forward to many additional home projects with her in the near future.

This is not a paint by number process, done correctly, it is an art form and Anne Walker is an artist. We gave Anne the difficult task of transforming our existing home with our current style into a home with flow, continuity and charm while maintaining our style. The evolution has not only been successful it has been fun. Anne's love for this process is evident in every detail of the house. We could not be happier with the results. We have completed our living room (built-in cabinetry, curtains, furniture, and fabrics) and basement transformation (doors, windows, furniture, and new office area) as well as completed construction drawings for the expansion of a kitchen based living area. We have selected new furnishings and repurposed existing furnishings. We have selected artwork and photography for the house. Our next exciting project is bringing an existing outdoor living area to life while integrating it into the new kitchen living area. We continue to evolve our home and I could not imagine doing this without Anne. Her professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding. Anne's insistence on getting it right and her focus on communication has instilled trust every step of the way.

Anne provided invaluable counsel, advice and design expertise on a family room and kitchen project for our new home. I knew the look I wanted to achieve, but Anne helped me streamline and push the envelope a bit out of my comfort zone. Results are terrific. Anne is also plugged in to so many helpful resources and has a unique fee arrangement which made the collaboration all the more worthwile. Anne did a wonderful job decorating my office in Jacksonville, FL. She put together a great design for a good price. It had the sophisticated edge I was looking for in my beach side marquee office. She spent time with us during each phase of the project and made sure everything was delivered and installed correctly. I strongly recommend her for any of your design needs. I've seen her residential stuff as well and it was impressive.
