About Us
Apex Stone™ provides building stone for all interior and exterior applications. In addition, we also cater to the needs of architects, designers, outdoor living contractors, pool and spa contractors, developers and custom home builders.
Apex Stone™ is owned and operated by a hometown Sealy family. The company leased 1-acre of land on I-10 and opened the yard to the public in 2003. Starting with 2 employees, a handful of Moss Rock and Texas Limestone pallets, Apex Stone™ fulfilled a demand in the West-Houston/Katy area which had previously been overlooked. In the beginning, one of the owners drove his personal tractor-trailer to acquire material and deliver to customers; however, Apex did not own a fork-lift, so they actually offloaded stone by hand! In 2005, Apex Stone™ grew to a 3-acre facility and the customer base continued to grow as well.
As of 2016, we now sit on more than 40 acres and have an inventory of over 12-acres of natural stone. We also house a full fabrication facility that specializes in custom cut stone, carvings, natural stone flooring, balustrades, fireplace surrounds, window surrounds, door surrounds, stone cladding and so much more!
Though operating such a large-scale stone company, the owners of Apex Stone™ maintain strong “small-town” values, and pride themselves on offering superior customer service, employing persons who demonstrate honesty and integrity, and going above-and-beyond for our customers.
We appreciate you taking the time to read about us and we look forward to serving your stone needs!
