Fashion forward and spot on with current trends, Ariana always brings us the most creative projects. We love her energy and focus, and always enjoy collaborating with her.

We retained Art-Via to redecorate three rooms in our home. We were interested in creating a brighter, updated look while retaining some of our period pieces. We were interested in an eclectic mix of updated and antique/traditional furnishings. We set a budget that in hindsight was too limited for the work we had in mind. Ariana Smetana, owner of Art Via, is talented, well-organized, and responsive. Before she began work, she collected information from us to gain insight into our style preferences and preferred budget. Under her guidance, we then selected paint colors for the three rooms, a new sofa and a side chair. Ariana suggested upholstery fabric combinations that are unique and interesting for the new pieces and the older ones that were being reupholstered. Following delivery of the large pieces, we shopped for area rugs and window treatments. Ariana recommended that we remove our 15-year old wood shutters from the common area windows. After some consideration, we agreed. And, we are quite pleased with the open concept. She also recommended new lamps, accent tables, light fixtures, along with elimination of items that were dated. She coordinated re-framing of several older pieces of wall art and shadowboxing of items we had collected in our travels. Finally, she has assisted us in the commissioning a piece of wall art. Overall, we are pleased with the new look. Ariana successfully delivered an updated, eclectic look for these three rooms.
