I contacted Austin Williams after seeing his ad in a local magazine. The photo in the ad immediately piqued my interest as we have contemporary tastes in a very southern, traditional, and beach locale. I provided Austin with photos of our recently purchased home previously decorated in a French Provincial style. I also provided pictures of the furniture we own which needed to be worked into a new floor plan. We met for lunch and discussed budget, visions, time frames, etc. After agreeing on the scope of work, I hired Austin and the work began! He found the best contractor at the best price (after getting bids from several others), someone who could do ALL the work (painting, light installation, plumbing, carpentry work, etc). He set all appointments with outside contractors (granite, upholstery) and met contractors at our house. On the day we moved in, he was there to place furniture, hang pictures, and brought additional help so I could just stand back and observe. He transformed this house with some very traditional features to a fresh new contemporary home but still incorporating the old for an interesting look. He is prompt with invoicing, no hidden fees, and readily available to answer questions/offer advice when I find something on-line or in a store. He is aware of future projects we have in mind, and I know he will continue to keep an eye out for anything pertaining to new project, or something that will fit our personal taste and decor. Austin Williams Designs transformed a house I was getting ready to put onto the market for sale. I recommended him to the owners, who then hired him to select paint colors for the interior of the home and also to stage the rooms with furnishings and decor. The owner wanted to use a few of their own items as well as have Austin bring in much of it. He was able to seamlessly blend everything to work beautifully in the home and make it much more marketable and at a higher sales price than without the transformation. His service is top notch, prompt and exceeded the expectations of the owners.
