First I want to thank you for taking me on, and giving me a beautiful bathroom to enjoy for many years to come. It has turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for, of high quality and design and something I am proud to show others, and I am sure will add value to our home. I also want to speak of some of your outstanding employees…. First, working with Gen, was a pleasure. She was creative, guided me when needed, was happy to hear my ideas, and always positive to be around. She willingly reassured me when I needed it, especially when there was a deviation from the plan, and never for a moment made me feel a burden when I had another question or worry. James,.. wow, you couldn’t get a better project manager than James. His coolness, when all hell is breaking out is a quality of unbelievable greatness. He never raised his voice, showed a attitude of “ your asking too much here” or any feeling of don’t ask me that. He always wanted to please, even if it meant more changes or work for them. And when another contractor or profession didn’t quite do it all or 100% right, he never said a negative word, but just told me it would get done. A wonderful person to deal with. I like perfection, and Andres & his son Matt, the tile guys, was right up my alley. They were perfect in all ways, and knew ahead of time what they would encounter, and what needed to be discussed to have the best outcome. A wonderful craftsman team and professionals. Devon, he was our knight in shining armour. He picked up, cleaned up, touched up and came back how many times, till it was finished to my perfection and his. He also was always kind, professional, willing and always had a smile. An employee that is worth his weight in gold for sure. Diane, your office manager, I had little dealings with, but I have to say, she got things done quickly, exactly, and always sounded so nice to speak to. Overall, I can’t say enough about your company and crew Wayne. I will highly recommend you at any time that construction comes up. It has been such a good experience and outcome for me. Harwood did an addition/kitchen/garage replacement and exterior upgrades for us this summer. Wayne and his team delivered on his promise to build us the house of our dreams! The in-house design process was thorough and responsive to our vision. Quality and efficiency of workmanship is superior to that of the other two reno companies that we've used in the past. Communication with owner and site foreman was fantastic. Quick responses and always responded to our questions and requests. Financial breakdown of work (along with accounting) is thorough and transparent. If you want quality and class, go with Harwood. We definitely would use again and will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Wayne Sage and Harwood Design Builders have helped with renovations to my house (bathroom). I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and the overall quality of the renovation. The work was done on schedule and on budget. They provided helpful suggestions/recommendations during the planning stages and during the actual renovation when unexpected things came up (as they often do with older houses). I highly recommend this company.

Work Harwood performed included new insulation, lighting, plumbing, windows and doors, customizing closets and a complete bathroom gut and redo. We are very pleased with Wayne's expert advice and the Harwood team's workmanship. We stayed in our home while the work was done; Harwood taped off the work areas to keep our living areas as clean and comfortable as possible - Harwood moved our furniture and wrapped it to keep it safe and clean while construction was going on. The Harwood team were very considerate to us, our pets and our home. We eagerly look forward to our next Reno project with Harwood Design Builders.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! How's that for an opening statement?! And we got exactly what we paid for, a beautiful renovated basement of our dreams. Penny and I were careful to research a few contractors before making the decision to hire Harwood. From Genevieve who designed a modern basement for us and utilized every space possible to Trevor and Tony (a modern craftsman) who spent countless hours in our house to make it happen. Harwood maintained a schedule (thanks to Jeff) and use sub-contractors who are professional and reliable. Harwood may be a little more expensive than the other guy but I can say that they are worth every cent. Thank you Harwood. Everyone who enters our basement is beyond impressed. I'm thinking of referring to my basement as "the lower level" simply because it looks nothing like a basement. I wish I could add photos to show you but I'm afraid I am not a techno geek. In 2014 we contracted with Harwood Design Builders to do a main floor and exterior renovation on our rather dated home built in 1948. Due to the extent of the renovation we relocated for four months while the work was being done. From beginning to end the renovation experience was excellent. Here's why: Genevieve, our designer, did an excellent job working with us on our design wishes and to set up a budget. She was also extremely helpful and good fun on a number of shopping trips to select the perfect products and materials for our project. We couldn't imagine attempting that ourselves. Communication was excellent with weekly project update emails from Jeff, our project manager, and regular budget updates from the office. When necessary Jeff or Genevieve would meet us at the site to go over technical aspects and gave us sound advice to assist us in making decisions. We were able to make regular informal site visits to see the work in progress and how things were being built. It is important to me that things be done right and Harwood's work in this regard was exceptional. The team who did the renovation are mostly Harwood's own craftsmen and were very friendly and did an excellent job answering our questions. Harwood bent over backwards to design and build some truly custom elements including a floating staircase and custom window awnings. The quality of the work was superb with very few deficiencies which were addressed quickly. The site was left clean and move in ready on the date promised and within the established budget. I can't say enough good things about this experience. The transformation of our home is amazing and a year later there is nothing we would change about it - we love it! I would highly recommend Harwood Design Builders for any design or renovation project.

We would recommend Harwood Design Builders to anyone who wants to renovate or build a new home. The staff in this organization are all ver courteous and respectful. If something wasn't quite right or to our pleasing, they repaired or replaced to our satisfaction. We were VERY pleased with our completed renovation but also a little sad, as we had a wonderful working relationship with the skilled craftsmen who came to our home.
