When renovating our living room Emily designed a beautiful space for us. This included a new fireplace, amazing wall paneling and gorgeous paint. These took the room from dark and out of date, to light, bright and airy. She also provided multiple furniture design plans and we were able to very conveniently replace almost all of the furnishings. We are now working with both Daryl and Emily on a complete kitchen renovation and addition, and also adding 2 new bedrooms and a full bathroom to an existing space. Working with Daryl has been great, he pays great attention to detail and spent time getting to know the house and the needs we had for our kitchen and bath. Emily has been very helpful with the finish choices and layouts, making the multitude of decisions involved in this project less overwhelming and more fun!

Baker Posey was an incredible team to work with on our home renovation (family room, bathroom, mudroom, kitchen, dining, outside patio, etc…) They were very thorough and diligent in their assessment of our home. They were wonderful to talk with, they listened intently, and communicated beautifully with us and our contractor. Every decision made took into account our dreams but also were thorough from a financial perspective and they considered costs in terms of quality and longevity. Baker Posey made our dream home come to life. It is beautiful, functional, unique, timeless and so well thought out. I am so happy I called Emily for help! It was like she could read my mind, and she save me so much time and energy. I find decision-making to be exhausting sometimes, And she came up with a plan that was just right for our needs. Baker Posey Design made our dream house a reality! We knocked down and built on an existing foundation, so we were slightly limited in shape and size of the floor plan. The architect’s dedication and creativity resulted in exactly the open floor plan we wanted in the space and budget we were working with. Daryl did an awesome job of always giving us three possible options to chose from and being open to our ideas and receptive to our feedback. My only regret is not hiring the designer earlier in the process. The rooms in the house that Emily helped me design stand out and are my favorite rooms in the home. She heard my ideas and enhanced them with her creativity and attention to detail. She narrowed down options so the process was fun and not overwhelming. She even went antique hunting for me when I told her I loved a mix of old and new! I can’t say enough positive things about this team! They are extremely talented and professional, yet you feel like your working with your close friends. I would highly recommend them for your next project!

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Baker Posey Design. Unexpected life circumstances necessitated that our small Cape Code become single floor livable. Daryl combined his creativity with keen insight into our needs to design a stunning addition and a creatively reconfigured existing house to allow me to live functionally and comfortably on a single floor within beautiful, elegant spaces. From our first meeting Emily instantly perceived our aesthetic taste and style. The result was that from initial design board to final selection finishes her vision, perception, and input has led us to a home that matches our dreams in ways we didn't even realize going into the process, while keeping practicality a reality. We are absolutely thrilled with the way Daryl converted an old double garage into a great room. He focused on the view in a way that makes people gasp when they walk in. The glass, high ceilings, and huge beams complement and bring the outside in. Daryl was easy to work with, and his pricing was really fair. We are so grateful to him for giving us such a gorgeous retirement home. Daryl was a pleasure to work with. We hired him to design a Granny Flat attached to our home for my Mom. The addition looks like it has always been there and in fact added to the overall beauty of our house in a way we could only have dreamed of.

I found myself overwhelmed by all the details and with that, the decisions that came with renovating a kitchen/dining room/living room areas. Emily eliminated the stress by narrowing down options, prioritizing decisions, and keeping us on track. She's thoughtful, meticulous and creative.
