I have been providing custom mural, texturized wall design and art to designers and their clients since 1972. I am a native of Denver, Colorado, have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Colorado and a Masters of Fine Arts from The University of Washington where I also taught fine art. Battaglia Colorworks & Design, Inc. began in 1982 in Denver, primarily serving designers and architects. My work is in major private and public collections throughout the world. I continue to do commission work throughout the United States with primarily representational landscape and figurative work. I am sought after for my unusual and unique ragged-edged paintings and unusual ancient writings and pictographs. I SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE AND ART! I am a creative through and through! My life is involved with the process of turning nothing into some form of passionate and meaningful design, color, and form. I literally come alive when I am working with color and design!!! It is my number 1 passion. Whether I am working on a mural in Rock Creek, Montana or a painting in my Studio in Denver or Palm Desert, my world is bringing forth the picture deep inside through revelation and beauty! Art for me is a reflection of the discovery of God in my life, a sublime mystery! I have found that it "is about the work." I enjoy the challenge of manifesting new ideas and concepts and I wear the hat of problem solver not prima donna.
