Alena Brooks Blasio, along with her Father, Brooks Worthing and their team of skilled and knowledgeable professionals have been doing just that for hundreds of homeowners throughout San Diego’s North County region for over forty years. Brooks had not yet graduated from college when he finished building his first home. It was immediately clear that he enjoyed the building business. Earning his General Contractor’s License in 1980, recognition of his skills came quickly for the young home builder. Brooks’ business grew and soon he was building and remodeling more than twenty homes and commercial buildings a year. Brooks was the active President of B.A. Worthing, Inc. / Brooks Design for forty years, after which he asked his daughter Alena to step into the leadership role. Alena has been the active President of Team B.A. Worthing, Inc. since 2019. Having worked together as a team for over fifteen years, Alena and Brooks continue to maintain a collaborative design and construction process with their clients, and each other. Team B.A. Worthing, Inc. believes that whether they are building a new home from the ground up, or remodeling an existing property, it is essential that an open and clear line of communication exists with their clients. “We want our customers to be involved from the very beginning,” Alena states. “When we meet with a client for the first time to discuss an upcoming project, our highest priority is to listen very carefully to their ideas and concerns so we have a clear vision of what they desire. Clients may pull ideas from magazines, Instagram, Pinterest, or their own imaginations. During the design collaboration we are able to put their thoughts down on paper, develop a realistic program for their desired space, and actually begin the process of making their dreams a reality.”
