My husband and I hired Shane at Bend Trend homes to build us our first ever custom built home. We shied away from doing this for 20 years because neither of us were interested in the multitude of decisions it would require and the open-ended price. Shane told us we could do it easily with a set price and very few decisions. He took us to several of the homes he had already built and we knew then it was a real possibility. One of the lots he showed us was perfect and the plan he recommended seemed perfect for the lot as well as our family's needs. 10 months, minimal modifications and decisions later, we are in the perfect home!!!

Bend Trend Homes provided us with a spectacular product and a wonderful building experience. From the start, owner Shayne Olsen paired us with designer David LiaBraaten (DesignHaus, Inc.) to create the perfect modern, rustic home. The sub contractors, from excavation to finish details, were quality craftsman; they were easy to talk with about custom designs and/or creative solutions to the inevitable building challenges that arose. The artistry of craftsman specifically from ModernFab, Orion Forge, and Cascade Design Center helped make our home unique. Although our original project deadline was not met, Shayne worked diligently to manage the subs and meet our exacting demands for quality work. He was also an integral part of the creative ideas needed to execute our design. The building process did require us to be on-site (i.e., we are out-of-state owners) more than expected to oversee the project. But when problems did arise (both structural and quality concerns), Shayne was reasonable to deal with and the issues were resolved, mostly to our complete satisfaction (that would be 4.5 stars). Communication throughout the project was constant and informative, including a well-structured, transparent billing process. We had interviewed several builder/designer teams for our home. In the end we made the right decision to go with Shayne and his team of craftsman as they truly understood our modern vision of a ranch house. Overall, Bend Trend Homes promised and delivered a superior product; we have recommended them to our closest friends.

Bend Trend homes built our new house. We wanted clean simple lines and a modern contemporary design. We got everything we ask for.
