I had the pleasure of working with Lena on some projects. She is a highly efficient, valuable, talented and dedicated professional. I’m particularly impressed by Lena’s dedication to her career. Her strong work ethic shines through the quality of her projects. She is very personable and understanding and is the consummate professional who is passionate and committed to each of her clients and projects. Lena is an incredible resource and colleague and will be a valuable asset to any team!

Lena is a gift to the design process. She is organized and keeps a project on schedule and on budget. she has impeccable taste and helps one figure out ones own taste without being overbearing in any way. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. charges were clear from the start, diagrams were delivered on time. She offered constant follow up and meetings with the building team to educate them as to how to accomplish the design plan. she is a total team player. she met with us at the stone yard, the tile showroom and researched all details of plumbing hardware and fixtures to meet our needs. The cost is figured out in advance and she sticks to it. Our project is not yet complete but Lena was instrumental to getting it off the ground and keeping it on track. Lena is wonderful at managing ordering, deliveries and sourcing supplies that are in stock. we had minimal supply side issues. I would work with her again in a flash and hope to have another opportunity to collaborate again. Thus far the 2 downstairs bathrooms are in the process of renovation and look terrific, we have yet to proceed to the next phase, Primary bathroom and kitchen but we have all the plans and most of the supplies and fixtures.

Lena Larionova is an incredible artist. If you have the privilege of getting to work with Lena you are truly blessed. Lena is exceptionally professional, kind, fun, and yet humbly brilliant Her gift lies not only in remarkable ability to blend subtle with wow, but also in her incredibly keen sense of balance in bringing together space, color, tone, material, and finishes. Her designs wonderfully take into consideration a multitude of requests and insights while grounding the specifications in what will achieve your vision whilst also ensuring harmony and that the beauty of each piece and element is fully appreciated. We are very picky and demanding, and Lena did a smashing job at every turn. We redid the entire first floor of our house redoing a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, building a bathroom, a laundry room, a bar, recessed lighting for an entire floor, knocking down 4 walls, and virtually every aspect of the project involved meticulous detail, design, and custom tweaks as we have a 100 year old house with Spanish/colonial/craftsman hybrid facets. Lena did a spectacular job with each niche and nuance. She made the process exponentially easier and greatly mitigated the stress. If it weren’t for Lena the timing, quality, character, and vision of what we wouldn’t would not have been realized. Lena is a transcendent talent and we will be working with her for all future projects.

Buro None was great to work with. Lena is very collaborative and motivated. She is patient and innovative with the design and product choices. She was really supportive during the entire process. We were kept in the loop every step of the way, and the end product is beautiful.

Hiring an Interior Designer to help is an expense many people aren't exactly prepared for. It seems like you can figure things out on your own, but do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and stress by hiring Lena. I exhausted my resources (houzz, blogs, google, pinterest, instagram) and was driving myself crazy before hiring her and I should have done it months ago! Not only is she a total delight to work with, but she is a truly gifted designer who has helped me realize my aspirations and has exceeded all of my expectations. I truly could not have accomplished this without Lena's help. So in retrospect, I view the hiring of Buro None an investment rather than an additional cost. Thank you Lena!

Working with Buro None was a transformative experience, and I have nothing but glowing and outstanding reviews to share! We recently moved into a home that is about 2500 square feet with an open floor layout in the front of the house. My partner and I were initially overwhelmed with the amount of space available to us and how to make it our own. Lena's expert guidance made the process of putting together our home incredibly empowering and enjoyable. From the beginning, she spent a significant amount of time learning about our vision for the space, our likes and dislikes, and what we wanted our space to look and feel like. I had never paused to think about my aesthetic, and Lena guided me through by creating beautiful mood boards that facilitated my own discovery of my taste. After this initial phase, Buro None created renderings with options of decor, furniture, wall paper, curtains/shades, etc. that really opened us up to new options we had never considered. Lena encouraged us out of our comfort zone while still helping us stay true to the overall vision that felt most authentic to us. Many of my most favorite pieces in the house are pieces selected by Buro None, and we get compliments on them ALL the time from visitors and guests staying with us. They stand out not just for their beauty, but also because they integrate an element so fittingly and creatively in the space, such as the color, shape, size, or texture. I needed this guidance because otherwise I would have gone toward more generic pieces minus the character. Overall, I have nothing but extremely positive things to say about Buro None and working with Lena. With a background in architecture, Lena brings a unique and powerful eye to interior design. Buro None's expertise in interior re/envisioning, has helped us center design in our pursuit of a beautiful, inviting, and warm home with way more confidence. I hope to bring her on for future house projects, and I would highly recommend Buro None to anyone excited about reimagining their space and building something truly gorgeous.
