We did the majority of the work while living in Hong Kong. This w as a. Challenge that w e w or keep: through. The project took a year to design and another year to build. Could not have done it without them.

Court Atkins designed my 3.3 MM house. There is no question that I would recommend them, they did an amazing job. They took what I gave them and made suggestions on their own, which were incredible. They are professional, organized and delegate responsibility well. They are not cheap and definitely took longer than expected. These issues pale in comparison to the job they did and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We specifically did not want a "traditional" Lowcountry home, and William Court designed for us a lovely, modern style home, with clean lines and maximum use of glass to take full advantage of the property's abundance of large live oak trees and natural setting.

I worked together with Court Atkins to design and build a tiny guest cottage/design studio in the Palmetto Bluff community in Bluffton, SC. William Court and James Atkins were truly wonderful. Their work was well thought out and detailed and they followed thru with each step of the design process and stayed true to their word. Everything was done in a professional and timely matter. This was especially important because my husband and I are in Philadelphia and collaborated on this project from a distance. We are very pleased with and proud of the end result.

We retained Court Atkins in Jan. 2011 to design a new home we were planning to build at Bull Point Plantation. Design work was essentially completed when we selected a builder (Allen Patterson) on Oct. 2012. The design time was extended due to my decision not to start construction until I had sold either my current home in Michigan or our boat. During this time frame we had a chance to work with almost every member of the firm. They were extremely capable, considerate of our desires and wants, respectful of our budget and actually got to the point where they could anticipate our feedback. I believe that they were a super group to work with on this project. They were totally focused on what we wanted, no hidden agendas. A good experience. I would wholeheartedly, with our reservation, recommend them.
