C&J Custom Builders built a beautiful addition on our home and remodeled the existing structure. We were very happy with the quality of their work and the professionalism they exhibited throughout the entire process - from bid to move-in. They were excellent to work with and we highly recommend them. We absolutely love our home and the work they completed!

Jerry, Matt, Craig and team did an amazing job on our covered deck project!!! From the beginning, they were communicative, responsive, and professional, which made me feel confident that they would be easy to work with. Once the project was started, we had a few unexpected snow storms with some pretty frigid days. Nevertheless, the crew still showed up promptly each day, working diligently in the cold weather for the full day, which goes to show you how hard-working and dedicated these guys were! They were also very detail-oriented and gave good design suggestions to help improve the overall look of the deck. In the end, we were thrilled with how everything turned out! The quality and craftsmanship are reflected in the final product, and we could not be happier. We are so glad we chose C&J Custom Builders for this project!

Jerry and then team at C&J finished our basement and it couldn't have gone better. We gave them a blank slate and the nailed the finished project!! Much of the inspiration came off of Houzz and they were able to satisfy every request we had. Totally awesome! Totally recommend!!

The team at C & J builders renovated our kitchen. They took a drab and outdated space and turned it into an open inviting kitchen filled with light. From our first meeting to our last, everyone on the team was very professional. We worked closely with Matt on several architectural elements of our project which included building a custom mantel and custom picture frame wainscoting in our foyer and dining room - he was very receptive to hearing our ideas and the end results exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience working with this team, they worked hard everyday, paying attention to all the little details, working closely with our designer to give us a space that we love. We recommend them without any reservations, they are a fantastic group to work with!

C&J did an incredible job completely gutting and remodeling our 1895 farmhouse. This was a huge 8-month job with the variety of complications and required changes an old house can throw at you; throughout the process Craig and Jerry offered excellent design suggestions, collaborated very well with our architects, worked diligently to stay on budget, and each day demonstrated craftsmanship and professionalism of the highest level. C&J’s team of subcontractors and designers are excellent too. These people are the best the building trade has to offer: conscientious, skilled, creative, and a pleasure to work with. We engaged C&J for a substantial project that involved adding on a master bedroom and garage and complete makeover of existing space. Project lasted nine months and we are extremely happy. In addition to quality staff and workmanship, their communication was excellent at every turn. Highly recommended.

I just completed a basement remodel with Craig and Jerry, complete with full bathroom, bar, tv/game room and workout room. They were fantastic! From the initial meeting with Jerry, he was prompt, had excellent ideas, and along with their architect, created awesome 3D images/drawings of the space. They are extremely organized, including online invoicing that is constantly updated showing you what they have spent,what they have credited, and when your next payment installment is due. Craig had excellent design ideas and attention to detail. He even handcrafted a beautiful built in to house our tv. Their work is flawless and they are perfectionists. The crew they bring with them are hardworking, reliable, conscientious and neat-thoroughly cleaning up and removing materials at the end of each day. We remodeled two bathrooms last year, and wish we had used them instead! They are a step above the rest! Our project went so smoothly! We absolutely love it!

LEAP Architecture has worked with C & J Custom Builders on several projects now, and we couldn't be happier with the outcomes. They are detail oriented, with the skill to bring carefully designed nuances to life. They also understand the building methods required to create an energy efficient structure. We hired C&J Custom Builders to implement LEAP Architecture's redesign of the upper level of our house, including the master bedroom and bathroom, new laundry area, walk-in closets, loft, and spiral staircase leading up to it. The entire space had to be gutted and walls rebuilt to create new spaces. All of the windows needed to be replaced. The architect's plan called for extensive millwork, tile and unique door systems. We also needed a substantial amount of work done on the main floor of the house, including a new main entry (exterior door, hall closet, ceramic tile floor), a complete gut of the guest bathroom, and refinished wood floors. Our remodel project was substantial and took nearly five months. Craig and Jerry and their team really delivered and we are thrilled with the result! They are professional, conscientious and a pleasure to work with. Craig is a highly skilled carpenter and meticulous craftsman with an innate sense of style. He is also an astute problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude. Jerry made sure the project stayed on track and that every detail was perfect.

Craig, Jerry, Matt, Lou and Mike did an AMAZING job! Jerry helped us with the design, and we also hired an architect. Jerry sat down with us multiple times to explain the process and make sure the design plans were correct. The price he quoted us was accurate and we were only over budget by a little bit, but that was due to some of our selections. Craig and Matt were over almost every day. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get the basement framed and sheet rocked. We had very intricate moldings and arches and Craig's attention to detail is impressive. I've received many compliments on the work. They gave me great advice about my flooring and cabinet selections. They also let me purchase materials from wherever I wanted, which helped keep the price in check. They take a great deal of pride in their work and always made sure I was happy with how it looked. I could not have asked for a better experience. They also finished on time. It only took 3 months. Photos can be seen on their website or their Facebook page. After having custom built my house, I wish we used C&J! I highly recommend them!

We hired C&J for a 1500 square feet basement remodel. The job included a bedroom, an office, a living room, a full bathroom, a laundry room, an a work room with storage space. They could not have been more professional and the work done was top notch. I would hire them again without hesitation and have already recommended them to others I know.

The folks from C&J from the first introduction of their crew to the close out meeting when the project was competed were most professional at each stage of the project. Each milestone of the project was explained in detail. Any additional work we requested was priced at the time with no extra costs factored in at the conclusion of the project. We were very satisfied at the outcome. I would highly recommend C&J for home renovations.

Jerry Saliba and his crew at C&J did an excellent job of building a 350 SF deck using Trex decking, railing, and fascia. Jerry was very professional, providing numerous suggestions to improve the overall design. He received accolades from the local building inspector for the quality of his work. He was very timely in providing an estimate, ordering material, and completing the work on the deck. He also coordinated with a concrete company to pour a 635 SF concrete pad surrounding the deck and supporting the deck stairs. When the original concrete contractor bailed without warning, Jerry worked very hard to find a replacement that met the original timeline and cost estimate. We were very, very pleased with the deck and pad. C&J provided an excellent product at a reasonable price. We would certainly use C&J and Jerry Saliba again.

If you are looking for a company that you can count on, this is the company to go with! We couldn't be happier. We had a house fire and had to rebuild the entire house. We were overwhelmed to say the least. Of course we got a quote from a few different people and these guys were VERY reasonable. The other part that was AMAZING was that they didn't quote just basic things, they quoted us with upgrades that they knew would make us happy and make for a better built home. Every step of the way they were easy to contact and always got back to us SUPER quick. We made changes along the way and they were happy to help. I would recommend them to everyone I know. They made the process easy and built us the home of our dreams. I'm not one for writing reviews, but they really impressed me.
