Jeff Cohen and Cohen Construction Inc turned my dated Vail duplex into my dream home. Jeff effortless took all my ideas and brought them to life. I could not be happier with the process or the results.

Cohen Construction was the general contractor on my 2017 project to convert wood-burning fireplaces to gas, update interior lighting, repaint, re-carpet, and install a tiled entryway. This was the second time I had hired Cohen Construction (the first was for a major kitchen remodel some years earlier), and both times the service was exemplary. Jeff Cohen has an exceptional sense of design, manages complex projects within an agreed-upon schedule and budget, and has a stable of excellent, highly skilled subcontractors with whom he has worked for many years. I am happy to give him my highest recommendation.

This remodel/addition was the 20th project that I have done in the past 30 years, and the first time that I had the pleasure to work with Cohen Construction. I worked alongside Jeff on a project this past fall. He was flexible and professional with my team as we worked on a schedule in a extremely busy construction season. His painters also did an excellent job following up my carpet installers delivering a beautiful finished project to the homeowner.

Cohen Construction did a wonderful job on our remodel of our Mountain Condo. We remodeled our kitchen, refaced the fireplace, painted and had all of the trim and doors sanded and refinished. It's amazing the transformation that it did. It made the small space seem so much brighter and larger. We are very pleased and will use them again when we redo the two bathrooms!

Jeff Cohen has performed two major remodeling projects on our townhome at the Vail Golf Course. The projects were “design-build,” and Jeff was instrumental in shepherding us through the process from design through the completion of construction. The finished product was a “Work of Art.” If you are thinking about remodeling or building in the Vail Valley, Jeff should be on your short list.

We cannot speak more highly about Jeff Cohen and his team at Cohen Construction. We worked with them on the remodel on our 8000 square foot vacation home in Beaver Creek in 2008. We had to gut our entire house, move the main fireplace, create an extension, add a new roof, create a new layout and add landscaping. It was a huge project. We are so pleased we chose Jeff to do the job for us. Not only was the quality of Cohen Construction’s finished work exceptional, they hired superb sub contractors to come in and work on certain finishes we required. We have received many compliments on the quality of work on the house since it was completed and have not had any construction issues on the house in the 4 years since the work was completed. Jeff was always upfront about his costs and the timing of the project and took great care to stick to his projection completion date. We received extremely detailed spreadsheets every month showing everything that was done on the project. And, at the end of the project we were handed three beautifully organized boxes with information stored in large binders on what work materials were used in each room of the house, what work was done on the house, who did the work, an instruction manual (if needed), warranty cards, and phone numbers of who to call in case repair work was needed. They even helped to receive the very large shipping container of furniture for the house as I was not able to meet it – service above and beyond that of a normal contractor! When I was able to get to Beaver Creek for the hand over, I was greeted by the welcoming smell of freshly baking cookies in the oven, a hand over of materials and the offer of calling their offices at any time to ask any questions I may have had. They truly live up to their saying…”Your builder for life”. We are truly grateful to Jeff and Cohen Construction. Our home is stunning and we have enjoyed every minute we have had in it.

We added an office and revised deck to our home in Vail. I knew Jeff before we did the project, but I have lived in Vail since 1974, and know many building professionals. His name came up repeatedly when I was looking for a contractor. I was a builder myself before moving to Vail. We were delighted with Jeff's work and professionalism. We highly recommend him, and would certainly use him again.

Jeff Cohen from Cohen Construction built a new house (Mountain Contemporary) for us and changed the façade of our existing house (mountain log) to look like the 2 houses were built together. He was able to do this in 14 months from start to finish. His attention to detail is one of the reasons our house came out perfect. Jeff is honest and really cares for the quality of his work. As with all new homes, we have had a few minor problems and Jeff is still taking care of them 20 months after we've moved in. It's nice to know our contractor is still interested in making sure we are still happy.

Jeff Cohen was a wonderful contractor to work with! We did a complete remodel of an older home and Jeff and his crew were on top of every detail. We were not on sight which made it even more difficult to manage but Jeff would update us regularly with pictures and emails describing the work that was done that week. We found him to be extremely thorough and knowledgeable with building and remodeling. We still work with him and will continue to refer him to our friends and family.

Jeff has done 3 major rennovations ;1987/2008/2014 each in a different house . He is attentive /transparent and has excellent subs. He has done follow up projects . Not the cheapest but you get great RESULTS . I would hire him again but hope we do not move again !!!
