About Us

Since 2004, Dave has been in the construction industry with a couple years in the corporate world. He started out as a hands on redeveloping investor of distressed properties with a focus on homes from the Queen Anne and Colonial Revival periods. These homes presented many challenges with architecture and structure, but the end result was a 100 plus year old home that was completed remodeled inside and out with current electrical, plumbing, heating/ventilation and modern appliances. In 2008, Dave re-focused on custom basement finishing and bathroom remodels. Today, Dave and Colorado Basement Company continues to fulfill homeowners dreams by creating amazing basements within budget and on time. I have several home projects that I have been wanting to start but wasn't sure where or how to start. I contacted Dave at Colorado Basement Company. I initially talked to him about the idea of converting an open ceiling space in my family room to a extra bedroom. He was able to help me visualize the idea and then created a 3D picture to show me what it would look like. Once I saw the design he created, I moved forward and about 2 weeks later, I had a beautiful new bedroom above my family. He explained how the added bedroom and bathroom would add value to my home and help with resale. He also found a creative way to add a large walk in pantry to my kitchen by opening up the space below my stairs. This was a huge surprise as I always wanted a walk in pantry. My next project with them is to convert my master bathroom in to a new "Spa" like master bathroom. I have a tough time selecting the tiles and design but a quick visit to the tile store with Dave solved that problem. I will highly recommend him for his projects. I know he focuses on basements but his ability to create other home projects is amazing. He was very professional and have recommended him to many of my friends and clients.
