Not enough can be said about Steve Langley and CT Kitchen Design. Professional. Meticulous. Experienced. Tasteful. Adaptable. And all about the customer. From helping us to decide on our cabinets to recommending other resources for surfaces and leaded-glass insets, from detailed measurements leaving no room for error to a father-and-son installation team who mitered every corner to perfection and hung every door in perfect plumb - Steve ensured a perfect kitchen. He may not want me to share this, but the icing on the cake was this: the cabinet vendor he had used for years (decades?) - in business for almost a century - closed down without warning 6 weeks into production of our cabinets. Without a pause, Steve sourced another cabinet-maker, got them to create the exact same finish (he brought samples to our house), pushed them to get us back on schedule and got us cabinets of even higher quality than our original choice. No excuses. No extra charge. Bottom line: can't recommend CT kitchen Design highly enough.

It was a pleasure working with Steve and CT Kitchen Design on our new kitchen. Steve worked with our designer and contractor to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was creative and found ways to keep our project within budget without sacrificing quality or design. When our cabinets were delivered, Steve came over to make sure everything arrived and that nothing was damaged during delivery. He stopped by the house multiple times during the project and again at the end of the project to make sure everything was going as planned and that we were satisfied. When I had a problem with one of our cabinet doors several months after project completion, Steve ordered a new door for us and came to our house personally to switch it out. Customer service doesn’t get better than that! We would highly recommend CT Kitchen Design for your next project.

From the moment my husband and I walked into CT Kitchen Design, we knew the island display with the working kitchen was exactly what our family needed. I have never have seen anything like it in any other showroom. Steve helped redesign our floor plan to accommodate our needs. Cabinet and drawer placement was very important to me, as I spend several hours in my kitchen daily. It helps that Steve, is an excellent cook himself and pays special detail to the inner workings of a kitchen. Steve has completed two kitchen renovations and a bathroom for our family. Although, we used our own contractor for the remodel, I always used Steve's team to install the cabinets because they are such perfectionist.

CT Kitchen Design was everything & more than I expected. I gutted my kitchen and they consulted with me on all aspects of the renovation whether it was a Do-it-yourself project or I subcontracted to an independent contractor. The quality of the cabinets surpassed my expectations as did the professional installation. CT Kitchen worked with my budget to keep cost down but did not cut any corners! The appliance recommendation to use a privately owned merchant yielded a package that made the completed job a showcase. I am pleased that I did not use a Lowe’s/Home Depot solution. The end result made the extra investment well worth it. Steve made numerous visits to my home to make sure the entire job was done right and followed up promptly to keep the project on schedule. A saying in the manufacturing sector where I spent 42 years of my career is, “You can’t go wrong buying an IBM Computer!” The same can be said of CT Kitchen Design!

I came back to this company after using them 5 years ago for a kitchen remodel . The product is top quality and the designs were so helpful. They listened to my vision and came back with two ideas, and we choose one and it was completed in late August. it was finished with every detail completed! I would highly recommend , Sarah and Steve at Connecticut kitchen Designs Our project were two cabinets flanking the fireplace, with a wet bar, lights, and storage, perfect!

We just recently completed and moved into our new home. I have done this before with other kitchen designers but Connecticut Kitchen Design was far and away the best value for the quality of cabinets and the most pleasant to work with!! My husband is an architect and very conscious of every detail, and Steve could not have been more accommodating to our wishes. He was always available, had some great suggestions for the layout and personally went with me to choose the counters. His input was invaluable and I now have the kitchen of my dreams!! Steve and Sarah were easy to work with and came up with an awesome design. They were very patient with us as we went through the process and remained hands-on throughout. I first met Steve in the the 1980s when I was looking for a kitchen designer. We hired him, and we've never regretted it. He did such a great job on our Milford Cape Cod style kitchen that we have used Connecticut Kitchen Design for kitchens and bathrooms in other homes we have owned, including a 2,400 square foot home in Milford, a condo in Florida, and -- the most recent -- our summer condo on the St. Lawrence River in Clayton, NY. Steve's attention to detail and creativity are topnotch. He stayed within our budget, and his suggestions enhanced the quality of the living space. My husband and I highly recommend his design expertise and the quality of his cabinets.
