We worked with David for the first time on what was actually a personal project and first build for us as a company. He is a true professional and incredibly talented architect! From the very beginning of the design process , David met with us multiple times to go over the look, feel, and function of the house. My wife and I had a certain look we were going for and were excited to see what David would be able to design given our smaller lot size. When David revealed the design to us, it was perfect! It was exactly the look and feel of what we were going for as well as functionality and design for our family. The level of detail David put into this design was incredible. It truly separates the house from others. I’ve lost count of how many times during construction and after it’s completion that I’ve seen people drive by and slow down or even come to a full stop in the middle of the street while admiring it. As the builder and homeowner it is a rewarding feeling to see that admiration from people passing by. It speaks directly to the beauty of the design itself. I would Highly recommend David to any homeowner looking build a house that stands out among the rest. As a builder, David was great to work with and was quick to respond to any questions that came up during the project. You can tell that David puts a great level of thought and detail into each project. His guidance and input throughout the project insured that the house came out perfect at the end.

XL Builders had the good fortune of being hired by one of David’s clients to construct an intricate 2,000-sf addition on their 1880’s Colonial home. He has his vision and the homeowner has theirs, but as soon as David visited our property, he knew that the views of the water had to be the focus of our home. We hired David to design & plan the construction of our beach house in Avalon , NJ. We hired David Bennett to design our new single family home in North Wildwood. We enjoyed working with David through the entire process and would highly recommend him if you are looking for a unique and distinct design. We hired David to design a complete re-build of a small bungalow cottage in Stone Harbor, NJ. Our decision was based on some very impressive homes he designed on the island, as well as excellent references from past clients. David's charge was challenging - design a classic shore cottage with a strong attention to architectural detail and lots of functionality in a very small space (while staying within budget). David more than exceeded expectations. The project was completed in 2012, and the house is fabulous!! It was selected by a local charity for its annual fundraising tour of distinctive homes. To this day we are still receiving compliments from passers-by whenever we sit out on the front porch. David was a pleasure to work with - always good-natured and accommodating - and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the design - including (but not limited to) exterior roofing and siding, interior woodwork, bathrooms, kitchen, and lighting.
