My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

David has designed hundreds of landscapes and gardens in the DC metro area over a career of 30 years. Selecting from various historic styles, PostModern Landscape Architecture will design a landscape that is appropriate and purposeful reflecting the local architecture and geography and the client's cultural background. A well-designed site answers the visitor’s questions. Are we at the right location? Where do I turn in? How far will I have to walk and by the way, where is the front door? Where can I park? The answers to these questions should be immediately determined and can be done so with intelligent site planning. Thorough site planning is critical to a project staying on time, on budget, and meeting goals of all stake holders. With PostModern Landscape Architecture’s attention to detail, knowledge of environmental constraints and regulatory familiarity, clients benefit in site planning. We focus on providing sound natural resource protection and site enhancement services for projects ranging from siting a single residence to multi-facility institutions.

Dave has done work for my homebuilding company for decades and has done excellent, creative design work for assorted entrances to communities we have constructed. He is responsive to concerns about budget constrains and does terrific detail work and goes the extra mile to find suppliers for specific wall panel designs. Also very experienced in public hearing assisting in presentations before assorted governmental review boards and agencies. First class work!

David Post provided a landscape and hardscape plan to accompany an addition to our home. This design also rearrange some of our two acre lot layout and landscaping. David 's prices were reasonable. He is clever and imaginative and real easy to work with. During the time that the land and hardscaping work was being done, revisited the site frequently checking on the work and the quality of the plantings. He did a great job. I recommend him highly.

I cannot imagine moving into a new home and not having a professional landscaping plan. I have an excellent plan drawn up by Dave Post over 10 years ago and I am still implementing pieces of it currently. Whether dealing with paver walkways, gardens and plantings Dave is the guy you need to make sure your home is a real show piece.

Commented: Terraced backyardThe wall coping and step treads are Limestone. The pavers are Dublin Cobble from Belgard and the walls are Celtik also from Belgard.
