When my wife and I decided to make some changes to the interior of our home, the more we talked about it the more apparent our inexperience at managing the many details of the project became. Someone suggested hiring a designer for some help and although I was hesitant at first to add the extra cost, it turned out to be the best investment we made. Daryl was so helpful in all aspects of the changes we made. From her experience she was able to talk over and help cast a vision for the things we were trying to achieve and make helpful suggestions of many changes we would not have thought about. She talked with us about the stress on a couple when they were about to have their home and lives disrupted for possibly months but with her help so much of that was relieved. With her experience and connections she was able to coordinate the many steps in the project and always keep us posted on where things stood and when to how to be ready for the next step. Daryl helped with room layout and design, kitchen cabinets, flooring selection, decluttering, wall colors, selection and sourcing of furnishings, decorating and scheduling appointments with vendors. She was always encouraging and enthusiastic about the project. We are so pleased with the final result. She became more than a designer, she became a friend. Being now on the other side of the changes, I can't imagine doing it without having had her help and friendship.

Daryl has been a joy to work with. Her enthusiasm for her craft is contagious and I always felt so positive after every interaction we had. I needed to renovate from afar and after a few initial visits to Wilmington to select cabinets, tile and other finishes, Daryl was able to channel my vision and continue to push the project forward via phone and email. With a meticulousness for detail, she worked closely with the tradesmen to insure installation went according to plan. There was no glitch she couldn't offer a solution for; her mind constantly generates ideas. If I could give Daryl more stars I would.
