David Flannery designed an master bedroom suite and meditation area for our 1930's era house. He was throughly professional and knowledgeable, listened attentively to our desires, and proposed a plan that exceeded our expectations. David worked in a timely way and met all deadlines. Working with David was my first experience of working with an Architect. I am very budget conscious so I was not sure I could afford or really needed this kind of help. My experience was totally positive and I learned the value of his expertise. I knew what I wanted in a kitchen remodel and sunroom expansion. But I couldn't see it. David got inside my mind and helped me articulate and visualize my dream. He saw possibilities I did not that made it an exciting adventure. He took the time to learn what mattered to me inside my home and outside. Being an avid gardener was part of all the design - even the kitchen being a workplace for my herbal work. I found him sitting in my garden when I came home trying to imagine the view from different angles of the expanded sunroom. He got me! He was sensitive to money issues and generated names of contractors. He worked with my choice that was one of his suggestions. In the end I am very grateful and appreciative of David's involvement. It is much more than I had hoped for. I enjoyed the entire process as a result. Highly recommended!

We began a two year project to add onto our home in April of 2013. The first and most critical phase was adding on a new addition to the back of our home and removing a previous smaller addition. David listened to our ideas and guided us through a process that resulted in an affordable and comprehensive plan to meet our goals. His detailed drawings made the bidding process manageable . During construction, he was available to work with the builder to modify the designs for the roof structure and to make the necessary engineering calculations for the roof truss permits. We found him so easy to work with and have referred him to several of our friends. Examples of this work can be seen in our village and he enjoys a well deserved reputation as a quality architect.

As a design/build remodeling contractor, I have worked with David for many years and with many customers projects. As a thoughtful Architect, first, he listens.
