I hired Leenheer Renovations for my project after I read his reviews on Houzz. I am so happy with my choice. Duane took the time to listen to my needs and allowed us to implement changes to the design so it would fit our budget and lifestyle. He always double checked with us before he started renovating a large area and made adjustments as per our decisions. All renovations come with a few bumps in the road but everything was handled with care. We renovated our kitchen, sunroom and living room all together and I couldn't be happier. We hired Leenheer Renovations to complete our basement development in the spring of 2017. We were very pleased with the quality of the work completed by Duane and his crew. Duane drafted up plans for us incorporating our ideas and making excellent suggestions along the way. He provided a detailed quote, which ended up being fairly accurate to the eventual cost of the renovation. He also took care of getting the necessary permits and organizing the inspections, which was a load off our shoulders! In addition, Duane was easy to get in touch with, responding to emails/texts asap if we had any questions. Everyone on Duane’s crew was extremely pleasant, respectful, and kept a very safe and tidy workspace. We were very impressed with the quality of the workmanship. No corners were cut, and the team did their best to ensure everything was done to perfection. In the end, we were incredibly pleased with the renovation and would highly recommend Leenheer Renovations to others.

Leenheer Renovations did some major renovations for us in our basement in the Fall of 2015. The original agreement was to provide floor covering for the main room and four bedrooms, refresh a wall, hiding cables that had been installed for TV and internet, and install a cabinet with sink and plumbing. We also asked them to install a drop ceiling with new LED light fixtures in the main area, (rumpus room) , and to renew a drop ceiling as well as install a new light fixture in one of the bedrooms, functioning as a study. The work was done very efficiently and any problems were discussed thoroughly. The wall that was refreshed, required removal of the panelling, in order to install the plumbing for the cabinet. In the process, inefficiencies in the wiring were resolved, and the internet cable installed in a convenient manner. Duane and his co-workers provided very helpful advice through the whole process. The workers were very helpful in explaining what they were doing, and very pleasant company to have in our home. We felt that they had become friends in the time that they were working The floor was subcontracted to a firm which also provided very good service. When everything was finished, it was everything that we had hoped for, and the cost was reasonably close to the estimate that we were given at the start of the project. The Leenheer brothers did a wonderful renovation and 200 sq ft expansion to our kitchen-including reusing cabinets and adding new to make a massive 5'x10' solid granite covered island. We were so pleased with their professionalism and the finished product!! We love our kitchen and eating area!

Leenheer renovations has a friendly knowledged staff that covers all areas of home reno's from start to finish witch allow them to offer very competitive rates since subcontractors are not required. This is the second major job they have done and I am very pleased, the new kitchen and bathrooms look fantastic. This summer job number 3 is coming. . The garage! I can't wait.

Duane and his team have worked 3 projects for me, my home and my two rental houses. The largest of the projects was the build of the full basement space in my house, including a bedroom, full bathroom with a gorgeous custom shower, a family room with a custom built in walnut entertainment center, a home gym, a cold storage room and a luggage closet. The results were quite amazing. Throughout the process Duane was extremely communicative and collaborative. He listened to my requirements for the space and understood my design style and was able to create a beautiful and inviting space for my family that was exactly what I wanted. It was because my basement turned out so beautifully and Duane was so good to work with that I hired his team again to work on both of my rental houses. Duane is a professional with great design taste and it shows in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Duane and his team for any renovation project.

I had Leenheer Renovations renovate my basement. New flooring, update the bathroom, add a fireplace/ entertainment area, paint and do all new trim. The rooms turned out perfectly and we could not be happier. I've worked with the folks at Leenheer for two major renovations. In both cases, I have found Duane (the owner) to be remarkably professional, helpful, forward thinking and responsive to needs. For our basement renovation (which was a complete build from bare floor up) the process involved initial consultation where Duane took our basic idea and made it smoother. Recommendations like wider doors in the access route to our furnace so that it could be replaced more easily if the need arose were impressive bits of forethought among several other suggestions about integrating storage into our half walls, and ensuring my extensive electronics cabling needs were built into the walls. The build itself was executed with incredible precision, and the basement is now one of our favorite rooms in the house. For a second build, we added a deck in the back yard, complete with pergola. Numerous options for materials, build styles and complexity were presented and the resultant deck is incredible. In general, I would not look to Leenheer for a cheap or discount job. I use this group when I want durable, quality and care, and while that comes at a higher price than other options I've looked at, the precision and quality of execution is more than worth it, in my opinion.

I have used Leenheer renovations for multiple different projects over the last 8 years. The first was on my former house where they came in and renovated an on-suite/hot-tub room off our master bedroom. This required removing the old hot tub, gutting the space and then starting the rebuild. During the process they found and repaired an improperly installed roof vent, clean up some mould growth and properly insulate the attic space. When it was done we had a custom tiled shower w/ glass door (literately designed and built from the ground up by Duane), new sunroof as well as fully modernized bathroom plumbing. A new spaberry hot-tub was installed where the old 8-man tub was. The next renovation involved them installing a second floor and building out some new commercial space. This required designing the space and layout, managing multiple commercial sub-trades as well as dealing with adjacent tenants and condo board. The most recent project we hired them to conduct was finalize the modernization of the basement on our new house. This involved framing out two bedrooms and a theatre room around an existing bathroom. They did everything from framing, to drywall, to flooring (carpet), to the ceiling tile and finally painting. We never have had a problem getting accurate budgets from Duane and them working hard to stick to those budgets (minus a few upgrades and unknowns found during the work). They also do a great job at paying attention to detail and not taking short cuts. Each of my projects has stood out and with a high attention to detail and quality. Have recommend to multiple people including family and friends and have never heard any complaints from any of those recomendations.
