We had the opportunity to work with Katherine Graber of Elysian Contractors during the renovation of our home. The scope of our project included a kitchen remodel, new flooring consisting of porcelain tile and carpet, a bathroom remodel, new interior paint and miscellaneous electrical upgrades.Prior to submitting her proposal, Katherine inspected our home and listened to our ideas. She asked questions and offered suggestions and when she was done, we felt she really understood our vision. Her experience and attention to detail was evident in her proposal in which costs were clearly identified and explained.During the renovation she communicated effectively and informed us on a daily basis of the status of our project. She expertly managed the coordination of various subcontractors and was diplomatic in conveying our comments or concerns to them. She is very serious about producing a quality project and takes personal responsibility for the work of her subcontractors.She was very flexible in accommodating last minute changes to the scope of work. She was very concerned about making the renovation process as easy as possible for us as we chose to stay in our home. She was very sensitive of our privacy and very conscientious about controlling the access to our home and leaving a clean construction area every day. Her expertise and creativity along with the experience of her subcontractors allowed us to make final design decisions with confidence.We love the finished product. We enjoy the quality of the work and the attention to detail that might not be noticed by everyone, but we know it's there. It was enjoyable working with Katherine. Her friendly and calm manner allowed for a very easy and natural working relationship. We highly recommend Katherine and Elysian Contractors and would choose them again for any work we might do in the future.

I recently moved out of state, and attempted to do a renovation on my home. This experience really made me appreciate Katherine even more than I did before. She is by far the most professional, experienced, dedicated talented contractor that I have ever used. She really cares about her clients.
